Phaedra Gunn (they/she) as their synthpop alter-ego Madam Nightingale won first prize at the Sounds of St Kilda Battle of the Bands at TheatreWorks in February 2020 at their debut performance. Madam Nightingale is best known on the Australasian fringe arts & music festival circuit, having performed at numerous events notably Newcastle (NSW - runner-up for the Artistic Merit award), Dubbo (nominated for Best Show) & Anywhere festival QLD.

Currently collaborating with Producers Aj'Zho & Flip That Groove and touring selected fests with Aj'Zho, theatrical rapper Cloutie Will or Electropop producer Me From The Future, ​Madam Nightingale is also one half of the Electroprog duo So...

Their Third single 'Into The Dark' was released 7th June 2025 - with sparse and moody sonics and melancholic Vox evoking the sadness of romantic separation, this latest release is a darkly emotional track, reminiscent of ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ by Sinéad O'Connor.
